New Investigations into the Economic and Social History of Hungary from the 18th to 21st Century

Abstract

In our latest publication, we continue the multifaceted exploration of Hungary's economic and social history, with a particular focus on the Southern Transdanubian region. What began as a local initiative three years ago has now attracted the participation of scholars from the United States and Germany. Authors are increasingly coming from national research institutions and archives, representing various stages of their research careers, including PhD students and professors as well. Not only has the number of authors increased, but so too has the diversity of topics. For the first time, we had the opportunity to organize the studies into thematic blocks, providing insight into the increasingly active and extensive scholarly dialogue that exists among researchers and their research endeavors. We hope that readers will find a study that matches their interests! We welcome all researchers who wish to join!
