Succession law and family structure among the Hungarian and German population of South Transdanubia in the first half of the 20th century The aim of the study is to show the different family structures and life strategies of the German and Hungarian population of South Transdanubia, as well as the underlying differences in legal customs and mentality. ln the second part of the paper, l will examine contemporary proposals and attempts to overcome the single-child-policy.
