Abstract

"Knightly Family Law" - the medieval Crusader Order as "Extended Family" From secular knights, the "bellatores", to the order of the Crusaders, there was a long road in the first centuries of the Middle Ages. The organization of the hospitaller crusader order functioned like an "extended family", headed by the Grand Master as the exerciser of paternal authority. The purpose of the paper is to present the functions similar to the "extended family".
