Jog és irodalom a ponyván. Népi jogtudat, jogi meret és jogi szocializáció a 19. század végén
Abstract
Law and literature in popular readings. Legal consciousness, legal knowledge and legal socialisation at the end of the 19th century. The paper aims to highlight a barely known corpus, a group of sources of Hungarian popular education readings. By analysing the 'Histories, Songs' series of cheap prints, it examines how the emerging modern bourgeois state tried to promote the application and enforcement of law in a practical way, through legal education at the end of the 19th century.
